About the wayfaring four
About us- Welcome! We’re The Wayfaring Four — a Sonoma County–based family of explorers sharing real-life travel guides for adventurous families like yours. We are a family of four and travel has always been a passion of ours. Each time we travel we learn a TON, and we wanted to share what we learn along the way to hopefully make your trip a little easier.
We’re not luxury travelers or minimalists — just real parents discovering the world with our little family. From navigating the Paris Metro with toddlers to finding kid-friendly hikes in Japan, we bring you honest, practical travel tips backed by firsthand experience.
Once our oldest was born, we didn’t want to just stay home 24/7 and we took her on her first trip at 5 months old (more on that in our New Orleans content).

We’ve traveled to 10 countries (and counting!) with babies, toddlers, and now bigger kids. Each trip teaches us something new — and we share it all, from stroller-friendly packing lists to itinerary tips and more..
We created this blog because we love utilizing real life experience from other travel bloggers and vloggers to plan our own trips, and we wanted to help too!

Where We’ve Been
Travel Destinations
As Northern California locals, we have explored a lot this state has to offer. Hawaii and Louisiana are two of our other most visited states in the US.
France has quickly become a family favorite of ours. With rich history, amazing food, affordable travel, and even a Disneyland for the kiddos!
